DIY social media im Hotelgeschaeft

schoener Blog ueber das “How To” von Hannes Treichl.

Enrique Muda a serious funny artist from BARCA

I love this guy.

I have seen him in Berlin at the DMY and all the time i visit his BLOG or his new WebSite his works make me smile.

His playfullness and catching a short thought and translating it into a nice playfull installation which never overweighted. I could imagine that his results are not complex enough for some people but i like them because the build up a direct link between the concept and the viewer.

WOW!

YING YANG this!

It was and is often mentioned and I will do so too just to record it for myself.

There are several YingYang relations in business and innovation. First I was just looking for one article that i like much because it has some good references in it to go further.

And on the same page i found Mr. Nussbaum talking about his version of YingYang but which also has something to do with business balancing.

Like Market Pull and Technology Push always is.

Mr Nussbaum on Business Weeks Online about the YingYang relationship between Culture and Technology. “NYT: Seeing Customers as Partners in Invention”

Venkatesh Rao about Ying Yang relation between Marketing and Innovation.

Frog Design Leberecht has also a nice thought about it

I found this link afterwards which plays out some nice interrelationship between Mr. Verganti’s Design Driven Innovation Idea and the links mentioned before.

  • So we have customers who are not human beings,
  • we have a relationship of marketing and innovation, and culture and technology,
  • and a design driven innovation approach which says that for eruptive innovations you need designers as interpreters and not the customer.
  • What if we throw them all into a well membraned system.
  • Do we have than what 3M calls it a nice Central Innovation Center?

Customer Survey is dead _ here comes the Customer Innovation Center

There are so many talks about customer surveys and the use of it. And a lot of specialist deny the use of it.

But perhaps Customer Innovation Center are a bit a different twist.

Mr Nussbaum from BW Online mentioned a nice article about Customer Innovation Center on NY Times. Seem that corporates getting more and more centralized again as there were also some mentions about corporates are getting more vertical again.

Butting coming back to customer survey and innovation centers.

Somehow these centers are still customer survey but more in a not so formalistic way not with all these multiple-choice questionnaires and cameras for usability testing and also completely in a different field. Not end-users are tested here it is a B2B relationship.

New York Times about customer innovation center at 3m, Hershey and so on.
